Day 4

Kia ora koutou katoa,

Wow, that was a full on day, some wonderful learning.

I felt quite anxious through most of it, but, I am thankful and grateful to Hinewa and all the team from Manaiakalani for your aroha and manaakitanga in guiding me through it all. It’s always great to have a few successful moments.

I have used google maps to show my tauira where the source of their awa begin and where they flow out to. They were very excited to see this. However, todays session gave me more of an understanding of the options and how to use other tools to show them much more.

Setting up my Blogging sites for school are an ongoing issue for me just due to little experience and needing some one on one with the set up process. However, I gain a little more confidence with each attempt.

I still need to get my head around most of our learning today but I know with more practise I’ll get there.

Remembering everything has been a challenge for me therefore the step by step support we receive in the break out rooms is extremely helpful and so too are the videos that we can refer back to.

Experiencing how to collate data into a spread sheet and seeing the data in graph form made it easy to read and understand. I look forward to using these tools to improve how I document and improve my teaching practice.
